If you are looking for something new and exciting to do in town come down to The Bare Slate to create a unique décor piece, wood sign, cozy blanket, etc while enjoying time with friends, family or even a fun date night. Public and private art classes and workshops are available. We even offer virtual options as well!
When you arrive, our friendly instructors will greet you and you will find all your needed supplies and project base waiting for you on our worktables, we handle everything else for you. Our instructors are there to guide you through the necessary steps, finishing your piece that is now custom to you and your space. Our workshops welcome every skill level.
Our Story
The Bare Slate opened this August - 2020. As a family owned and operated business, we wanted to provide a fun, learning and interactive experience for all our customers. Molly & Robert Davies
Founders
Rob spends his days as an HVAC installer for EMCOR doing various installs in large corporate buildings in the Connecticut & New York area. Molly is an Operations Manager for S&G Hauling, out of Shelton, Connecticut.
Rob & Molly got married in 2021. They are the proud parents of Boone their black lab. They love spending time outdoors camping and traveling. Both were raised in Monroe, CT currently residing in Shelton, CT.
